Co-President, Director
Rachel has been part of the BLS Human Library team for 3 years! She enjoys collaborating with others and she is involved in several school clubs. She holds leadership positions in the school science magazine (Catapulta) and the school art and literature magazine (The Register). In her free time, she loves to read books, dance, and draw in her sketchbook. She hopes to make the upcoming Human Library event an even greater success than before!

Co-President, Director
Jack has been a part of the BLS Human Library for 3 years! Outside of working with the other Directors to make this event happen, he loves to read and go downtown with his friends in his free time. He loves being involved, so he holds leadership positions in several other clubs such as the Gender Sexuality Alliance, Junior Classical League, and the Argo, BLS’s school newspaper. Jack also loves anything to do with the humanities--languages, writing, history, and philosophy, are all some of his favorite things to learn about!

Assistant Director
This is Rachel’s first year being on the BLS Human Library team, and she is really glad that she joined! Rachel loves to explore her interests and passions through school clubs. She holds leadership positions in Ladies’ Collective, BLS Real Talk, and the Mock Trial team, and writes for the Argo. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, drawing, reading, and spending time with friends.

Assistant Director
This is Iris’ first year on the BLS Human Library team! In her free time, Iris likes to knit, watch kdramas, and do Chinese Calligraphy. Outside of school, she is involved in education initiatives like coordinating a tutoring program and teaching kids. At BLS, Iris is an officer of the Recycling Committee. She is excited to be part of BLS Human Library!

Assistant Director
This is Eileen’s first year being on the BLS Human Library team! She loves all things justice as she is a 2nd generation Hispanic immigrant and she knows what it’s like to be marginalized. In school, she helps out the Director of History classes find global opportunities for students. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and listening to music.
